Since February 1st, 2024, The Basin Bakery has been honoring John "JK" Kelly by baking his beloved triple choc chip muffins, with all proceeds coming to The Code 9 Foundation.
The bakery is committed to keeping JK's memory alive and aims to show that no one facing mental health challenges is alone, encouraging people to reach out and find just one reason to keep going.
It was a heartwarming experience to recently attend the bakery and receive a cheque for $4951.65. In just two months, this community has raised an incredible sum of money and awareness, and they are still going!
