A couple of tips and motivation to help you build up those steps and keep you walking for the entire month

  1. Put your exercise gear on BEFORE you make the decision to head out.
  2. Exercise in the morning before your brain figures out what you are doing!
  3. Don't say I'll start tomorrow.  Start stepping NOW and see how many you do. You may just be suprised!
  4. No matter how slow you think your progress is you are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying.
  5. Remember that exercise not only changes your body.  It changes you mind, attitude and mood.
  6. A little progress every day adds up to BIG results.
  7. Set an hourly timer to get up a move about.  It may be a walk around the house, up to your letterbox or around the block.  You'll be amazed how those steps add up!
  8. If you're on the phone, walk and talk!
